Herrick patrons can borrow eBooks, eAudiobooks and downloadable videos by visiting the web sites of our digital book vendors. See the sections below for a description of each collection, system requirements, etc.
Our Overdrive Collection includes nearly 4,000 Adobe or Mobipocket eBooks, and Overdrive eAudiobooks. You'll find fiction and non-fiction titles for all age groups. These ebooks and eAudiobooks can be checked out with a valid Herrick District Library card, and then downloaded to a PC, PDA, Smart Phone or many MP3 Players. There are approximately 300 PBS titles included in our current Overdrive downloadable video collection. You'll find a range of "always available" documentaries full of award-winning educational content. Download and watch them immediately from home.

Our NetLibrary and Recorded Books Collection contains more than 17,000 combined titles for home use. You will need to register for a Netlibrary account to create a username and password. Please call the Reference Services Desk if you have any questions about this service.
This ebook collection offers nearly 15,000 fiction and non-fiction titles, including the classics, speeches, government reports and popular titles in computing. NetLibrary ebooks do not require any special software - they are read online, in a browser window.
