The library's mission for collection development is to serve the community as a center for reliable information, to provide encouragement for children, teens and adults to educate themselves continuously and to create opportunities for personal enrichment and recreation. We hope to provide a place where inquiring minds may encounter the rich diversity of ideas in a non-judgmental environment. Herrick patrons can borrow eBooks, eAudiobooks and downloadable videos by visiting the web sites of our digital book vendors. See the sections below for a description of each collection, system requirements, etc.
Adobe or Kindle eBooks, and OverDrive eAudiobooks items; fiction and non-fiction titles for all age groups. These eBooks and eAudiobooks can be checked out with a valid library card, and then downloaded to a PC or transfered to a Nook, Kindle, or other eReader.
