Includes company profiles, brand information, rankings, investment reports, company histories, chronologies and periodicals. Search this database to find detailed company and industry news and information.

Chilton Library provides exclusive photographs, diagnostics designed by instructors, step-by-step repair procedures, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) maintenance schedules, wiring diagrams, recalls and Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs) for automobiles and light trucks in one easy-to-use web site.

Congressional Quarterly (CQ) Researcher:     Access CQ Researcher at the library
Full-text, comprehensive articles on current social issues and topics including Religion, Education, Politics, and Economics.

Electric Library Elementary:     Access Electric Library at the library or from outside the library
Information from magazines, books, and newspapers. Updated daily, this product includes picture files, maps and television transcripts. Contact the library at 355-3100 ext. 3720 for the user id and password to access this product from outside the library.

Ferguson's Career Guidance Center:     Access Ferguson's at the library or from outside the library
This information packed resource contains detailed information on careers in 93 industries. Patrons can also access skill-building and resource modules for scholarship, school and internship information as well as resume, cover letter and interviewing tips.

Use this nation-wide catalog to find books and magazines at public, academic and hospital libraries. Some full-text articles are available through this service. Morningstar's online data reports cover more than 20,000 stocks, mutual funds, and ETFs. Patrons using this service may also use the Stock Screener to enter criteria to locate just the kind of stocks and funds they want.

3,500+ titles, including the classics, speeches, government reports and works of fiction.   Please Note: Patrons must register for an ebook account at a Michigan library to activate this service. Patrons who will be registering at Herrick can stop by the Reference Services desk for registration instructions.

Includes topic overviews, experiments, biographies, pictures and illustrations, as well as full-text articles from over 200 magazines. Please Note: Science Resource Center is accessed through the InfoTrac Database Listing screen.

SIRS Discoverer Deluxe:     Access Sirs Discoverer at the library or from outside the library
Includes the 2007 World Atlas for Kids, Funk & Wagnalls New Encyclopedia, current events, maps, photographs and more.

Web Feet Internet Guide:     Access Web Feet at the library
This powerful research tool is designed to help you save time and find the best resources available on the Internet. It is not a search engine, but rather collections of preselected sites reviewed by librarians, educators, subject-area specialists, and editors.

 
Michigan Occupational Information System (MOIS): This database/web site is designed to provide career information for individuals entering the work force or considering a career change. Includes sections on self-assessment and exploration. For each occupation selected a summary including working conditions, education requirements, earning and advancement opportunities, and professional groups in Michigan is displayed.
